Round 10 vs Rowville (Away) @ Seebeck Oval.

Saturday the 21st of June sees us travel down Stud Road to the Police Paddocks where we play Rowville on the newly landscaped Seebeck Oval.

The rematch of Round 1 this year saw us take 3 wins at home against the Hawks. We will be looking to repeat this feat on their turf and make it 6 from 6 for the year.

Seniors (2.10pm)

After a convincing win last week against Lilydale, it was a tale of two different games for the Eagles. While we dominated for three quarters in the cold against the Falcons, we couldn’t quite replicate it in the last quarter. Whereas Round 1 against Rowville, we were outclassed for three quarters, but a dominant 7 goal last quarter saw us win by 10 points.

With the talls being the difference around the ground and the smalls being the majority of the goal scorers, lets hope for a more team effort this time around and put the season back on track.

Reserves (11.55am)

Still undefeated and still pushing out dominance all over the ground with unselfish team football, the lads will be looking to extend the streak and knock off the 2nd placed Hawks.

Rowville are definitely no pushovers. Although the Eagles lead all game in Round 1, it was only a less than five goal win. A lapse in game plan and a bad quarter will definitely give the Hawks a sniff and could reverse this scoreline.

Lets hope the Reserves boys can keep the streak alive!

Colts (9.40am)

The Hawks got the jump on us in the first quarter in Round 1 kicking six goals to one. Then we managed to flip the momentum for the rest of the game kicking fifteen goals to 7. This saw us get over the line by 22 points.

Its 2nd plays 3rd and getting the choccies will give the Eagles a two game gap over Rowville. A loss will even the ledger and give the Hawks some confidence if there is a rematch in September.

Go Eagles!!
