Round 12 vs Knox

This Saturday we venture down to Argyle Way as we face the Falcons at Knox Gardens Reserve.

This is our first encounter for the year against Knox. All 3 of their sides are sitting on the wrong half of the ladder and would love to pluck a few feathers off a low flying Eagle.

Whatever happens on Saturday, it will be certain there will be some feathers ruffled at Knox Gardens Reserve.

Lets hope all 3 Vermont teams can ensure the Eagle soar higher than the Falcon and we can return with our wings in tact.

Seniors (2.10pm):

A scrappy goal less first quarter last week was quickly forgotten when 17 to 5 goals in the next three quarters saw us run out convincing winners as we took the bounce out of the Roos by 80 points

East Ringwood could never get into the contest as we used out pace, teamwork and skills to overpower them.

We are still looking for a full four quarter display from our senior boys this season and we hope it begins on Saturday.

Reserves (11.50am):

A come from behind win last week in a non-convincing fashion against the Roos. We were behind all day and managed to claw our way to a 6 point win. Unable to get our running and linking game together saw us miss targets repeatedly.

An extremely disappointing couple of weeks for the Eagles as we are lucky to come away with 1 win out of the last two weeks.

A great opportunity to get back to our our game plans and get a solid win on the board before a week off.

Colts (9.40am):

A really good win last week considering the conditions. Considering a hefty advantage kicking to one end, we were able to restrict East Ringwoods scoring at that end and then managed to dominate when we had the best of the conditions.

If we get off to a good start this week, the Falcons will find it hard to get into the game.
